Applications of brown corundum

1. Because of its high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength and other properties, it is used to pour steel sliding spout, smelting rare metals, special alloys, ceramics, iron-making blast furnace lining (wall and pipe); physical and chemical vessels, spark plugs, heat-resistant and anti-oxidation coating.

2. due to its hardness, good wear resistance and high strength, it is used in chemical systems as various reaction vessels and pipes, parts of chemical pumps; as mechanical parts, various moulds, such as wire drawing moulds, extruded pencil core mould nozzles, etc.; as knives, mould abrasives, bullet-proof materials, joints, sealing mould rings, etc.

3. corundum insulation materials, such as corundum lightweight bricks, corundum hollow balls and fibre products, widely used in various high-temperature kiln walls and roofs, both high-temperature resistance and insulation.

4. Brown corundum particle size sand is made from artificially selected brown corundum blocks processed by roller, ball mill, Barmac and other equipment, the particle size range is F8-F325, mainly used for polishing, grinding, industrial grinding, etc., but also according to customer requirements for water washing, pickling treatment and other methods of processing, to meet the different needs of customers. Low-carbon brown corundum after the furnace and special process of reprocessing, reduce the content of residual carbon in brown corundum, so that the product in use does not chalk, not burst, toughness is the abrasive abrasives industry, refractory materials industry's preferred raw materials.
